Pretending not to care about dessert

A group of Saudi sports TV pundits gathered around a table cutting a large celebration cake bearing the Al Hilal logo, while one man on the far left looks down at his phone, pretending to be occupied and ignoring the cake.

Used to describe pretending to be busy or nonchalant when dessert or food is served so as not to appear greedy.
