How Memeyat works
Memeyat is a search engine for memes. Type a description of the meme, the text written on it, or the person in it.
Three ways to search
1. Describe the picture
What's in it? An animal, a person, a place, what's happening.
2. The words on it
Write what you remember, even if it's not exact.
3. Who's in it
A player, a celebrity, a cartoon character.
- You can search in Arabic or English.
- Some memes have rude words or sensitive content. They only appear when you tick "Show sensitive memes" under the search box.
On a meme's page
- Like: your vote moves the meme up in "Top voted".
- Download the image to your device.
- Copy the image, then paste it straight into a chat.
- Share the meme's link.
- Tap a person's name to see their other memes.
- Similar memes are listed under the meme.
- Wrong information, or words you'd search to find it? Tap "Something to tell us about this meme?" and we'll look at it.
Didn't find it?
Ask for it on the requests page; someone may know it. Requests →
Have a meme we don't? Add it; we check it before it appears on the site. Add a meme →
The search learns from you
When several people search with the same words and then download or copy the same meme, those words are added to that meme's search words, so the next person finds it faster.
