Workers wrapped in blankets winter indicator

Construction or municipal workers walking down a street in traditional shalwar kameez, bundled up in heavy blankets and shawls to protect against cold weather. The image has a Snapchat caption jokingly stating that seeing them dressed like this is the true sign that winter has arrived, rather than weather forecaster Al-Zaaq.

Used humorously by Saudis and Gulf residents to indicate the official arrival of freezing winter weather based on observing how bundled up outdoor workers are.
